You don’t have to think about which mattress - comes with our newly designed bassinet mattress. Featuring a lyocell cover with a water resistant lining.
No MDF, every part of the bassinet is made from timber.
Rounded dowels and internals, our little one thought it was a game to hit the sides of his cot in the middle of the night using all of his body

Mattress fit (as per Australian standards)

It is important that the gaps between the mattress and the sides and ends of the cot will not exceed 40 mm when the mattress is pushed to one side or end, and 20 mm when the mattress is centred in the cot.

Materials and care

Materials

Made from sustainably sourced radiata pine timber.
The bassinet base is LVL timber base with airflow holes
Timber products will naturally have variation from our photos. This is due to the timber itself, screen settings, photo settings.

Care

Pine timber is softer by nature, meaning there is less chance of splintering. It does mean it is easier to mark.
The timber is coated in a light lacquer (tested to Australian safety standards) which helps keep a consistent colour in the timber and avoids the timber yellowing.
Regularly wipe dust away using a soft cloth.
For deeper cleans use water or a very mild cleaning agent which is suitable for painted surfaces.

Shipping and pre-orders

If the product is listed in stock, it means it will be processed within 2 business days. We then will work with an appropriate courier to get your item to you. If listed for pre-order, the provided month is an estimate of dispatch. There can be times where there are delays, which are out of our control and we will keep you updated if these occur.

Please note couriers will leave the parcel at your door where safe to do so. They will not normally go up stairs or enter your property. Larger items may also come on a pallet.

The Willow bassinet's iconic curves are hand finished to create a feeling of softness. Every touchpoint of the cot was thought out in the design process with the goal of making it inviting for both parent and child.

Effortless mobility

High-quality wheels allow you to glide the bassinet smoothly from your bedside to the living room without waking a sleeping baby. They also allow you to gently rock the bassinet. Two of the wheels are also fitted with brakes.

A safe sleep

No need to worry about which mattress to use. The bassinet comes with one. It features a firm, dense foam for safe newborn spinal alignment and a breathable bamboo blend cover. While the cover is removable, we always recommend using it with a mattress protector. The mattress is fully compliant with strict Australian safety standards.

A wonderful collaboration

Designed in collaboration with Skeehan Studio. When we had our idea for designing a cot we wanted to get external design guidance, so we reached out to the team at Skeehan. Based in Canberra, we worked closely with the team (also parents) to create the Willow collection. It was a project of many iterations, factory visits and samples, until we landed on our final product.

Has it passed testing?

Yes. The Willow Bassinet is fully tested and compliant with the latest Australian safety standards. We test the physical frame stability to the non-toxic finishes and mattress firmness—is certified to ensure a safe sleep environment.

How long can my baby use the bassinet?

The bassinet is designed for use from birth until your baby begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 20kg, whichever comes first.

Do the wheels lock?

Yes. The high-quality wheels are designed to glide whisper-quietly across both carpet and hard floors, and they feature secure, easy-to-use brakes to lock the bassinet firmly in place when stationary.

Is the mattress included, and how do I clean it?

Yes, the premium mattress is included. It features a water-resistant inner liner to protect the dense core foam from leaks and the outer lyocell cover easily zips off for machine washing. We always recommend using a mattress protector in addition to a fitted sheet.
