WARNING: Product use

Cot and mattress

infant should be placed to sleep on a firm, flat surface;
place infant on their back when using this product;
do not put objects or accessories in an infant’s sleep environment;
do not place this product near a blind, cord, strap or similar item that could become wrapped around an infant’s neck.
It is important that the gaps between the mattress and the sides and ends of the cot will not exceed 40 mm when the mattress is pushed to one side or end, and 20 mm when the mattress is centred in the cot.

Chest of drawers

ALWAYS secure it with an anchor device.
NEVER allow children to stand, climb or hang on drawers, doors, or shelves.
NEVER open more than one drawer at a time.
Place heavy items down low.
NEVER put a TV on this furniture

Materials and care

Materials

Majority of the products are made from sustainably sourced radiata pine timber.
The cot base is a slatted LVL timber base, to allow for increased airflow.
The chest drawer bottoms and back panels are MDF sheets for strength and to avoid warping.

Care

Pine timber is softer by nature, meaning there is less chance of splintering. Some babies will teeth on furniture, pine timber is more gentle on their mouth timber.
The timber is coated in a light lacquer (tested to Australian safety standards) which helps keep a consistent colour in the timber and avoids the timber yellowing
Regularly wipe dust away using a soft cloth.
For deeper cleans use water or a very mild cleaning agent which is suitable for painted surfaces

Shipping and pre-orders

If the product is listed in stock, it means it will be processed within 2 business days. We then will work with an appropriate courier to get your item to you. If listed for pre-order, the provided month is an estimate of dispatch. There can be times where there are delays, which are out of our control and we will keep you updated if these occur.

Please note couriers will leave the parcel at your door where safe to do so. They will not normally go up stairs or enter your property. Larger items may also come on a pallet.

Bassinet height

The bassinet height can be used up until your child is actively rolling (as per guidelines). Most parents will set up the cot in this height first to make it a bit easier on their bodies in the early months.

Cot height

Once your little one is a little older (and more active), drop the base down into the cot height. This ensures their safely in their cot with no risk of them falling out. You can use this height until your child is showing signs of climbing out.

Toddler bed

Your little one is all grown up! You would be looking to remove one side (or both if the cot is not up against a wall). This allows for more independence. The Willow cot also has removable legs, if you want the bed lower to floor remove these. Just make sure to put some thing to protect you're floor if it will be sliding.

The cot is intentionally lower, it means that when transitioning into the toddler bed conversion your child has more independence to get in and out without the risk of a high drop. The chest is designed so that it can be used well beyond the early years. It is not designed to be a ‘baby’ chest of drawers but rather furniture you can use anywhere
