Why we love it

This is the cot we (Carla and John) used for our baby, so perhaps we are slightly biased.

  • It is the centrepiece of the nursery, we had a simple nursery set up so the cot was our hero piece
  • Multiple conversions, and the cot is lower to the floor which makes toddler stages easier
  • Slatted base - none of our products use MDF bases
  • Rounded dowels and internals, our little one thought it was a game to hit the sides of his cot in the middle of the night using all of his body
  • Meets Australian safety standards
  • 5 year warranty

Materials and care

Materials

  • Made from sustainably sourced radiata pine timber.
  • The cot base is a slatted LVL timber base, to allow for increased airflow.

Care

  • Pine timber is softer by nature, meaning there is less chance of splintering. Some babies will use the top rail as a teether, pine timber is more gentle on their mouth timber.
  • The timber is coated in a light lacquer (tested to Australian safety standards) which helps keep a consistent colour in the timber and avoids the timber yellowing.
  • Regularly wipe dust away using a soft cloth.
  • For deeper cleans use water or a very mild cleaning agent which is suitable for painted surfaces.
Shipping and pre-orders

If the product is listed in stock, it means it will be processed within 2 business days. We then will work with an appropriate courier to get your item to you. If listed for pre-order, the provided month is an estimate of dispatch. There can be times where there are delays, which are out of our control and we will keep you updated if these occur.

Please note couriers will leave the parcel at your door where safe to do so. They will not normally go up stairs or enter your property. Larger items may also come on a pallet.

Bassinet height

The bassinet setting suits newborns until they start rolling, in line with safety guidelines. Its raised height helps reduce parents bending over in the early months.

Cot height

Once your baby is more active, lower the base to cot height. Use this setting until they start trying to climb out.

Toddler bed

When your child starts trying to climb out, convert the cot to a toddler bed. It supports their independence with a low, accessible sleep space.

Floor toddler bed

A variation of the toddler bed with the legs removed, bringing it lower to the floor. This creates a safe, accessible sleep space where they can practise their independence.

Mini bed

Remove the side panels to create a mini bed with no walls. It offers a completely open sleep space, giving them the freedom to hop in and out with ease.

Hand finished

The rounded elements used throughout the cot are hand finished to achieve the iconic look of the Willow cot. We wanted to design a cot which was minimal in design without sacrificing on features. Focusing on the top rail being rounded and soft to touch, came about from endless nights of us leaning on a cot rail helping our own little ones with their sleep.

Made for parents

The cot has solid timber headboards which were intentional in design. It allows a parent to be in the room without the baby seeing them. It makes checking on your baby a bit easier as you don’t run the risk of them getting to excited when they see you. Can you blame them? You’re the greatest thing in their life.

A wonderful collaboration

Designed in collaboration with Skeehan Studio. When we had our idea for designing a cot we wanted to get external design guidance, so we reached out to the team at Skeehan. Based in Canberra, we worked closely with the team (also parents) to create the Willow collection. It was a project of many iterations, factory visits and samples, until we landed on our final product.

Quality over quantity

The Willow collection is our best seller. We are limited in production due to the time required to create each cot, each cot is hand finished. It is a special project for our team, working directly with Skeehan studio to create this collection.
